Important Dates In Kepler's Life
Dec. 27, 1571: Johannes Kepler was born.
1584: Started to attend his Lutheran School.
Sep. 17, 1589: Started to attend the University of Tübingen.
1597: marries Barbara Mueller.
1600: Begins work with Tycho Brahe, most productive years of his life, was assigned to study the orbit of Mars.
1601: Death of Tycho Brahe. Kepler continues to with Brahe's data until 1612.
1609: Published the book New Astronomy, which includes Kepler's first and second laws of planetary motion.
1609-1611: Kepler gave support to some of Galileo’s discoveries made by a telescope.
1619: Published World Harmony, which included Kepler's third law of planetary motion.
Nov. 15, 1930: Kepler's Life comes to an end.
